If you want an 18 inch chain to put round your neck, you may have a clasp and jump rings that make up 1 inch in length, so you only need to put 17 in the qty box and I will send you 17 inches of continuous chain.  

This is flat trace/cable chain so that it catches the light when you move, and looks very sparkly. Unlike gold plate rolled gold will last considerably longer.

Yellow Large Size:- each link measures 12.2mm long x9.9mm wide x.87mm thick. Discontinued

Yellow Medium Size:- each link measures 5mm long x3.8mm wide x.6mm thick.

Yellow Small Size:- each link measures 4mm long x 2.7mm wide x.5mm thick.

Rose Small Size:- each link measures 2.6mm long x2.2mm wide x.4mm thick.

Rolled Gold or  known in the USA as Gold Filled contain  much more  gold than gold plate and can be worn with no problem. The gold content is 14ct.

A layer of gold is fused under heat and  pressure to a base metal sometimes copper is used. The thickness of the layer of gold is 50 to 100,000 times thicker than gold plate. The thicker the plating the more durable the finish. To be called Gold Filled at least 1/20th of the total weight must be pure gold.
