Fireline is a prewaxed braided beading thread in crystal, smoke or black satin.  The crystal  does have a white appearance. Be aware that the smoke colour can come off on your hands.

Much stronger than C Lon, good for beads with sharp edges, ie bicones: or for doing a tight edge of size 15 seed/delicas/charlottes  round a rivoli or cabachon as it seems to grip the beads better.  It has NO stretch what so ever, apart from just before it breaks.

 The weight/size given is the breaking point ie you can hang something round your neck that weighs 2,4,6,8,10,14lb! before the fireline will break.

2lb   = .11mm average diameter. Length 50yds or 45.72m

4lb   = .14mm average diameter. Length 50ydsor  45.72m

6lb   = .17mm average diameter. Length 50yds or 45.72m

8lb   = .19mm average diameter. Length 50yds or 45.72m

10lb =  .23mm average diameter. Length 50yds or 45.72m

14lb =  .24mm average diameter. Length 50yds or 45.72m
