This is a sterling silver pearl clasp stamped 925 on the tongue, the standard for sterling silver. 

It is called a pearl clasp as it has a bar to catch the tongue of the clasp, should it come undone you wont loose your necklace / bracelet, it is one of the safest clasps around.

Size: 15mm long from end to end when closed, 6mm wide, 3.2mm thick.
